Life can be tough, with our bodies and minds being put under stress for many different reasons, and if your working day is mainly desk-bound then this is unlikely to help.

Solent Wellbeing run events for organisations who are interested in improving the wellbeing of their workforce and enhancing their work-life balance, whilst achieving increased individual and team productivity.
So, with that in mind there will be no awkward intros, you can sit with who you like, no Power-Point presentations, and if you don't want to take notes you don't have to... It's all up to you. We are available to discuss anything during the day or afterwards via e-mail or social media.

NUTRITION: FOOD FOR THOUGHT? – Nutrients are the building blocks that make up our bodies. We explore how finding a balance in your nutrition habits is essential to keep your body fuelled for everyday activities. We give you ideas for work lunches and meals, but ensuring you still enjoy your food and feel good.
THE CHAIR IS THE NEW 'SCARE' – Being hunched over a keyboard all day is not good for you or your productivity. According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) in 2017, 28.2 million days were lost due to musculoskeletal conditions (including back pain, neck & upper limb problems). What are the simplest exercises you can do to keep yourself in shape... at work or at home?
LUNCH – We give you ideas for work lunches.
BE KIND TO YOUR MIND – According to the ONS, 15 million working days lost due to mental health issues including stress, depression or anxiety. There are numerous triggers which may cause these problems at work. If you sometimes feel unable to cope we explore how you can help yourself.

Four extremely passionate health and wellbeing professionals, each bringing their own unique wealth of knowledge to the table, have come together to create Solent Wellbeing.
Duncan has a degree in Sports Science Biomechanics and Physiology. He was ‘head hunted’ to set up new gyms for the Soho House Group which saw him designing gyms in Germany and USA.
Duncan played American Football in the USA and for Great Britain. After finishing his football contract he passed his Crossfit coaching qualifications, and on returning to the UK opened Crossfit Solent.
Kate is an organisational coach and yoga teacher whose passion is to help make organisations a great place to work. She is a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institve (FLPI) and specialises in helping to build highly engaged teams who play upon their strengths to do work that they value. She helps individuals to build their emotional intelligence and resilience, by giving them practical strategies to help them to remain calm and composed especially in difficult and stressful situations.
Rachel trained at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist in 2013. She takes a 'naturopath' approach to wellness, focusing on the whole person in order to achieve optimum health. Rachel has been passionate about the therapeutics of food for many years and after having children decided to pursue this further. Her areas of interest include skin health, digestive health and auto immunity.
Kay is an Integrative-Relational Counsellor qualifying via Kingston University London. She works with adult individuals offering one-to-one counselling, dealing with issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationships, bereavement, abuse and life changing decisions. Kay is familiar with daily work pressures and deadlines as she also has a degree in International Marketing and worked in business consultancy and project management in the healthcare industry.
